If Portugal could be summed up in a single word, then it would be warmth. The warmth of every face you meet, ready to break into a welcoming smile, anywhere and anytime and, the same is true when we enter the Dão region, which lies in the centre of the northern part of the country. Here, in a harmonious alternation of granite mountains and gentle slopes, skilful hands harvest the grapes from centuries-old vineyards such as Encruzado Reserva and Touriga National to transform them into complex and elegant wines. Traditions, culture and a favourable climate all certainly play their part, but it is only thanks to the spirit of the local inhabitants that, in addition to it being an excellent product, the heart that brought it into being also arrives in the glass.
