Liguria
There is a Liguria that warrants discovery: the one that reveals itself when you venture inland, away from the coast. That part of the region where, when cast your eye upwards, you see craggy, precipitous mountainsides, bedecked with even steeper terraces and grapevines tenaciously clambering their way up them. It is no coincidence then, that some call this heroic viticulture, as it defies all the laws of physics and any semblance of common sense. And it requires long, hard work. However, when the wine arrives in the glass, it brings with it all the warmth of the sun, the saltiness of the sea breeze and an incredible taste that you will be hard pressed to find anywhere else.
