Here we are in Tuscany, a region that is the very embodiment of Italian oenology with a vineyard area of ​​almost 60,000 hectares and an annual production of more than 2 million hectolitres of wine. It is here that the oldest and most fertile Italian grape variety, the Sangiovese, found its ideal habitat; thereby laying the foundations for numerous DOC and DOCG wines, each more renowned than the other. Instead, as is our want, we headed for the lesser-known and yet equally outstanding ones because, we know by now, there is more enjoyment for us in blazing new trails than retracing the footsteps of others.
